
Slow cooked Beef short ribs
Ingredients
- 6 whole Beef short ribs
- 750 ml Red wine
- 1 whole Garlic bulb
- 2 tbsp Tomato puree
- 500 ml Beef stock
- 1 whole Foil
- 1 kg Mashed potatoes
- 400 g Asparagus
Instructions
Heat olive oil in oven dish. Season beef before browning it in the oven dish. Once browned, add tomato puree and cook it off before cutting the garlic bulb in half and place it down in the sauce. Add wine and simmer until caramelised. Add beef stock to about and inch up the short ribs. Cover in foil tightly and place in oven at 170 Celsius for 3 hours
